答案是C

但是B哪里错了？

有一句结构差不多的话是被作为例句的：the economy of Florida is more diversified than it was ten years ago.

两句的区别就在于一个是用as adj. as一个是用more adj. than的结构。

是不是as adj. as 是不可以用B这种结构的？而more adj. than就可以？

我的理解是B的是A in 1980's is twice as fast as (it was) in 1970's. 应该没有问题的吧~~?

如果这句话改成In the 1980's the rate of increase of the minority population of the US was faster than it was in the 1970's.在语法上对不对的呢？

第二个问题，前面出现过的那个词应该用that 或者those代替的吧..不能用it，对么？

B和C放在一起比较

B：1980的rate和1970的rate两倍一样快

C：1980的rate是1970的两倍

rate是主语，怎么可以说是as fast as呢？

rate是一个数字，twice是可以的。

句子强调the rate(肯定是数字） ,所以twice修饰是对的；而fast修饰动词，用在这里造成逻辑上的错误。我觉得句子的主语决定了只能用twice. 这道题看似考比较结构，其实还暗考逻辑意思，很tricky.

我觉得C中的it指代的是1970年的rate.

比的是rate

哦！ rate只能用high low来修饰不可以用fast是么？

个人感觉是可以的，但是这道题你读完之后，得到的大体意思就是在比较快慢

而且。如果把A选项后面加个in,应该就对了。
