Do you agree or disagree: it is impossible to be completely honest with your friends?

Everyone needs friends, in other words, friends is a indispensable part of our life. When it comes to the questions whether we should be completely honest with friends or not, there are always diverse answers.

As we all know, the trust is to the relationship what the foundation is to the skyscraper. And friends are the people who I can trust and be honest with, so I can share my happiness and sadness with them. Without the trust and being honest with each other, people can not make real friends. Even though, is it possible to be completely honest with friends? I do not think so.

First of all, in some occasions , people have to tell the white lies to their friends. For instance, my best friend Lily bought an expensive new dress on her birthday, I thought the dress is a litter out-dated. When she asked my opinion to her new dress, I said it is perfect on her. I do not want to lie to her, but if I told the truth, she may be upset ,expecially that was hre birthday. So, sometimes people tell lies because they consider the feelings of their friends.

Moreover, everyone needs private space, even between best friends. Friends can share secrets each other and help each other, but it is no need to be completely honest with each other. For me, I have a lot of good friends who can share the happiness and sadness, but not all the time I want to share. When I failed an important management competition in my college, I just wanted to stay alone. I want to go through the frustration by myself . It is not care about the trust or honest. On the contrary, I do not think it is a really good thing if friends are completely honest.

All in all, trust and honest are the prerequisitions of the friendship, which also the most important key of the relationship. But it does not mean that people must be completely with their friends. I need some private space, so do my friends. So, remember to be honest, but no need to be completely.
