[求助]一道语法题--想了好久也不明白

答案是B  可是为什么要在than后面加一个is啊，语法大全里还说这个is是对的，怎么想也想不明白。麻烦学长们详细解答一下啊，谢了！

习惯用法, 倒置结构. 正常是than any other animal is. 但是惯用法将is提前到than后.
