when my sister, lily, got a high grade in school, she entirely went into rapture ,then writed down the sentence-"l decide to sthdy hard from now on"-and put up it in the most notable place of the room.Do grade have so great magic power ? According to my sister's reaction,it is undisputable that high grade never fail to fascinate students. However, do good scores encourage them to study? After watching lily a few days,I found that what she actually do is not studing hard, but copy her classmate’s home work to gain wonderful grade. Thus, from my personnal angle alone, sracely can satisfactory grades generate a positive impact on their learnings.
Statistics have showed the number of students who practicing fraud in the test is increasing rapidly .It is ecactly an unexpected consequence that the desire of high grades bring. Tempting as grades are, it is not a good choice to cheat teachers and parents, espercialy themselves, when takeing exam. For sake of high grades, thousands of students rack their brains to do anything.Supposing they succeed to get what they desired, they will engage in doing it again, for they virtully kown if they fail to do,what they need might go away.Therefor,as we can see, good scores ultimately enhance the behavier of cheating, but not to promote them to work hard. In addition, grade is extenal incentive while internal motivation is paramount.Only owning external incentive, one have no possiblity to succeed without internal motivation, such as capability and confidence, since exterior might impel interior, but is depend on interior. For instance,a young man purchase a new car,but he did not learn how to dirve or he have a horror of dirving. In this case, the car did not mean to encoursaged him to dirve ,just as grade to study. However, occasionally, students work harder than ever before with the inspirit of high scores.Such a sort of students invaribly put study in first consideration instead of scores, needless to mention fraud in test.Consequently,I am fully convinced that high grades do not inevitably impel students to work hard and I never remain suspicious of the possibility.
