030 It has recently been announced that a new high school may be built in your community. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use specific reasons and details in your answer.

   There is a heat debate over whether a new high school should be built in our community. Different people might hold different opinions toward this question because of  their distinct backgrounds. Some people assert that a new high school might benefit the community a lot, but others think building a new high school have many demerits. In my point of view, I agree that a new high school should be built. I would like to reason and present evidence to support my view.

    No issue is more important than the one that refers to education. Education plays an indispensable role in the period when children grow up. A new high school will definitely benefit the children. If we build a new high school, children could take advantage of the new sources in the school. Facts witness and present many examples. Plenty of new books in the library not only help children to study their curriculum but also widen their sight of view. Some advanced equipment for in the school would attract the students to study. Furthermore, some high-tech apparatus will be introduced to the laboratories which could help the students study chemistry or physics more deeply. Don’t you think the examples I mentioned above very persuasive?

  Another chief and head merit I has chosen to put here is job opportunities. It is no better illustration that can prove my view, namely building a new high school could create many job opportunities. In such a competitive society, some people who are qualified for some jobs have to loose their jobs. If a new high school is built here, some people could have satisfactory jobs in the school. If you can see this, you would understand it more deeply.

    Last but not least, raising tax income is also an important reason to build a new high school. In the new school, some commercial activities could be held here so that the government could get more tax income. Under the circumstance, my view is obvious.

    To sum up, due to the reasons mentioned above, which sometimes correlate to generate an organic whole and thus become more convincing, we might safely reach the conclusion that a new high school should be built in the community.
