lz 本科金融工程，  985大学，gre 327 托福 101 绩点3.38 两段很水的实习。申美国msf或者msmf，应该是多少名啊？有哪些好学校建议的。 今天收到pepperdine的AD，lz当时随便写的呀，都没找人改，就被录了。是不是应该申好点的学校？这个是不是有点保守？

Hey buddy! Honestly, I love some aspects of your background. You have a good college education background and standardized test scores. Also, you have some REAL work experience. You disadvantage, though, is that you don’t have very a competitive GPA. You will have to be highly strategic when you design and write your essay to highlight your strengths.
If you do this right, you can DEFINITELY go for better schools. MSF, UIUC, George Washington University, and Brandeis are all good options for you. MFE, Georgia Tech, U-Mich, and Rutgers are also good ones to check. Hope this is helpful for you, dude, and please reach out again if you need more help.
