Young man, a more realistic plan for you, is to get a Master of Accounting in the US (maybe around Chicago area). Your big four experience will help you. Your CICPA license will help you. Your lack of reserach experience won't hurt you. You may want to make sure you get enough money to pay for tuition. Finding a job is not that hard.

Thanks for your kind advise. Actually, this idea had come to my mind at the very beginning of my application last year. However, It is economically impossible for me to pay the tutition for such as 400,000 RMB at one time. Therefore, I had quited this idea and transferred to apply the phd program. While my luck did not favor me and I have failed to get any AD or Offer.

我觉得楼主可以优先考虑会计,finance不是很适合楼主的本科背景。,没有statistic, 工程, 名校的背景申finance很难，finance是最激烈申请人数最多的专业，普通的商学院背景都不行，更不要说英语专业。accounting的话，要先读个research型的master（写论文的那种), 没有accounting的本科背景申博士比较难。个人觉得申PHD学术Background和research interest match是很重要的。

看来现在我只能先尝试accounting master了，但是据我的调查accounting master的话基本没有scholarship这一说吧，要是这样的话对我来说经济压力会相当的大啊，这可怎么能从其他方面稍微解决一些呢?

楼主可以在学校内打工，这是合法的。也可以帮老师做一些research的工作 (only in case professors are looking for master research assistants), 既能增加自己的学术经验，也可以赚钱。但是这个几率很低，因为这些工作都是PhD在做，作为得到奖学金的工作。另一个方案，楼主可以尝试申请下英文专业的博士(English literature)这个应该是 under Social science department下的。不过我还是劝楼主多思考下，为找女朋友出国，你女朋友不在美国了，有了更好的工作offer去英国或者加拿大了，你是不是也要跑去英国。不管是读master还是PhD，除了金钱之外，更大的成本是时间成本。anyway, best of luck!

1. 建议先申MBA，以你的背景，申50-150的MBA拿全奖或者至少tuition waiver的可能性是蛮高的，经济上不会压力太大。由于你的长期目标是申博，MBA的ranking对于你的重要性并不高，优先考虑拿高GPA和挣研究经历（有些low tier的学校在这个方面反而会有优势）

2. GMAT分足够了，别那么执着去考更高的分，没有任何必要

3. 建议放弃finance，你的背景申finance还是弱了点

4. 推荐信是大问题，所以读MBA或者读一个硕士过度才显得尤为重要，至少能解决推荐信的问题
