IMD's MBA program has risen sharply in the new 2014 Financial Times MBA rankings released today, claiming the #1 spot worldwide in several key areas.
The FT ranks the IMD MBA #1 globally in aims achieved, placement success, international mobility, international business and international faculty.
Overall, the school's MBA program climbed seven places to 12th worldwide, up from 19th last year. In Europe, IMD rose two places to 4th from 6th last year.
The program also ranks #3 worldwide on value for money, international students and international board, and #7 for career progress.
In international experience IMD is #18 worldwide, a rise of 24 places from last year, reflecting increased international consulting project (ICP) and other program travel. IMD is also identified as being one of the "best in" general management (#3), entrepreneurship (#5) and CSR/ethics (#7) worldwide.
IMD continues to be ranked well on the criteria that are important to the school's strategy of offering an international MBA program for talented, experienced participants focused on real world learning. This year, IMD's one-year MBA program has 90 participants from 40 different countries across six continents.
The program is also ranked #1 by Forbes among one-year MBA programs outside the US, and #1 worldwide for leadership by Bloomberg Businessweek. |
