如果决定要再买一本，推荐朗文当代第四版的双碟版，虽然还是朗文的，不过估计更适合楼主，而且软件电子版功能很强。另一个推荐原因是其他流行的词典，其电子版大都可以网上下载并顺利安装，而LODCE的光碟有加密，很难顺利安装，所以还是买书用原版光盘安装比较好。

前一阵曾在写一个关于电子字典的帖子，没写完，不过LODCE的部分写的差不多了，这里粘贴一下：

朗文词典

主要指Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English，简称LDOCE，一般叫做“朗文当代”。目前推荐使用第四版，带双光碟的升级版（单光碟的是普通版）。不过该版的光盘有加密保护，网上流传的版本不容易安装（除了vecyCD上的，还可以试试这个版本http://bbs.uying.com/105/55214/。但不论用哪个网上的版本，都不太方便。一方面很可能要拔光驱线，另一方面还需要安装Deamon4.0版虚拟光驱软件，而Deamon的4.O版本目前也有争议，因为可能会对某些系统造成不良影响。）双碟的电子版除了延续朗文的一贯特色用2000多基础单词解释一切单词之外，还收录了大量带配音的例句（单碟版的例句无配音）。而新托福的听力又是一个重要内容，带配音的例句无疑对听力也有帮助，所以更适合基础一般的“非牛”。不过由于网上下载的版本安装起来的确麻烦，且不一定成功，所以买原版然后安装才比较保险。但是大陆没有引进这个版本的词典，所以要买只能去淘宝，易趣试试了，海外的朋友倒是可以考虑购买。

另外，如果要较方便的使用，一般推荐完全安装。不过LDOCE的丰富表现，也将对电脑系统，尤其是内存带来负担。不到512M内存的话，还是用其他字典才比较流畅。

最后，要用这个电子字典，可能要下个补丁，因为该词典和最新的quicktime冲突，windows用户一般都要重新下载朗文官方提供的补丁，不然电子词典无法发音。补丁地址：http://www.pearsoned.com.tw/newsletter/elt/ldoce_windows.htm

我的书都买齐了,不过还没有看呢,LISA姐在北美,口语应该还不错吧 偶现在口语真是很差,今天和同学聊天,我跟她说,我们俩说英语吧 结果我们就互相望着沉默(满脑袋的句子,不过都是中文)了10秒种,也不知道我们俩该用英文说啥,结果就大笑 汗啊  要好好练练了

I can speak English without thinking Chinese, but I still need practice my speaking and listening.

Ocean, you may come here to express your felling in English. Type English as fast as you can. Don't care your spelling and grammar. Just fast as you can, then transfer what you typed to the Microsoft Word to check your writing. At this time you can pay attention to your grammar and spelling. Finally you can post them out.

             We take TOEFL test for different goal. You want to come out to study as soon as you can. I study it not only for go to school to study, but also would like to check my English level. So I  am not in a hurry to do it. 

 Do you know why I want to buy a new dictionary? A good dictionary is essential to improve my English. Electrical dictionary is only fast to find out a word I don't know. But dictionary is deferent form the electrical dictionary. When I check the word that I don't know, I can find a lot of word I really want to know by the way. For example, yesterday watching the movies, I couldn't understand OVERRADED. Today and tomorrow I plan to study all the word that is begin with OVER in my dictionary include example sentences. Due to interest of those words, I will not fell bored to memorize them.  So that I have an appropriate dictionary is necessary. This is a reason why I decided to buy a new dictionary.

vocabulary: Essential idioms: lesson 8, review Yu minhong Cuan Jiang C list and made 20 vocabury cards

OG: listening section: page 139 and 140( I didn't do page 69 to 137. save them for after longman IBT)

Grammar:  I brushed up on how to reduce adjective clause to adjective phrase and adverb phrase.

Writing: come here and reply Ocean and Sweet candy letters.

I admire u !  I still need to think Chinese first, then translate into english except simple sentences. At the beginning, I always made stuip mistakes such as he/she, go/went when I talked with American people, but now I have improved a lot.

ps: I have downloaded Longman Dictionary (4th Edition),which is great to use on the computer. if anyone needs,pls let me know.
