As educational methods-- the ever-lasting heatedly discussed topic—concern(可以说是教育方法起越来越重要的作用,原句不顺的concern 作为关系很少这样用。一般开头concerning。。。。) the future of the next generation, parents and the public cast great effort to chase the beacon in the mist. Some educationists oppose to the usual practices of focusing on academic study. Instead, they propose that youngsters should be taught via social activities in clubs or organizations because that is of same value as science scholarship. This paradox triggers a storm of arguing and discussing, and people fall into it with confusion. General arguments and specific examples will be given in this article to demonstrate the pros and cons of each method, providing a straightforward process to decide the better one.(这种话不是很自然,还是自然最好)
Independent and critical thinking is(are) the favorable and essential quality(qualities) of children. Joining an organization will force(force有点负面encourage, motivate, inspire 吧) a child to actively acquire the required working and living skills which otherwise cannot be fed into their minds(be obtained within the classroom) by lecturers in the classroom. On the other hand, however, no one can afford to neglect or deny the necessity of guidance in the process of theoretical knowledge acquisition, without which one cannot make a splash in his field. Whenever you encounter difficulties, the teacher will give you a hand and render his advice. With his guidance, you can obtain a thorough overview of the knowledge system and broaden the scope of a specific topic. Without(being devoid of) a guide, you would be searching in darkness without a torch to light the way for you.
Another advantage of association that it can offer is the more relaxing and open circumstances where it would be easier to explore and cultivate the teenagers’ interests and hobbies. And the young may become an all-around(well-rounded) developed citizens instead of bookworms. Nevertheless, even some adults, not to mention little kids, are inclined to be indolent for lack of a strong will. Namely, teachers, in this occasion, are able to provide supervision. You are urged to go on by your teacher.
Finally, I try to convince myself to support one way, but I failed. Complex and intricate as the issue is, what we discovered and explored above is not enough to conclude since both methods fit for different subjects and individuals. Surviving skills can be better learned in associations while science and literature should be given as a carefully planned knowledge system. Also, dealing with kids of different characters and personalities, either learning method has its own merits which cannot be weighed on the same scale. Standing on different dimensional mountains, you can view various scenes.
文章采取中立态度。这样写也挺新颖的。还有就是倒数第二段。还要具体说academic studies are more compulsive。其他很好。真的不错

3.28 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It's easier for parents to raise children today than it was 50 years ago.
Every time when we go to the supermarket, seeing the baby’s paper napkins, baby stroller, or some electronic toys, my mother often make exclamation like “How troublesome it was without these useful staff when you were born!” Indisputably, along with the rapid development of technology and significant improvement in productivity, it is much less time-consuming on baby’s nursing chores. Nevertheless, one cannot overstate the convenience brought by science while underestimate the tremendous pressure in raising children. I refute the idea that it is more readily to bring up a child than it was in the past.
(开头好)

In the first place, increasingly fiercely(fierce) competition of society had put forward great challenge to not only adults but also to their descendant. Just take children’s education problem--the ever-lasting heatedly discussed topic of parents-- for example. Numerous women start to train their babies since pregnancy. Large amount of extra-curricular classes and training school make huge profit from youngsters. According to a newspaper, Teresa, a mother from a low-income family, sends her five-year-old boy to twelve classes a week after school. Eagerness to provide life of higher quality for their offspring exerts unprecedented pressure on new parents.
Furthermore, as a result of the fast pace of modern society, company staff could hardly share adequate time with their children. Under greater economic pressure, fathers are obliged to work overtime while(没有转折,是并列) mothers have to go out to work all day long instead of nursing babies at home. Things are even worse for those who hold shift work. Ambitious students too, are too busy with their schoolwork to watch TV or play sports with the family which could not be too common in older families’ daily lives.(主题是说养孩子难,孩子忙还是有点离题)
Last but not least, youngsters today are exposed to much more colorful world than their forefathersprior generation. With the proliferation of Internet, teenagers have better access to more information and more ideas, which makes them more independent and thoughtful. However, sometimes their concepts just go too far. They become so radical that even if the senior’s proposals are sensible, they would express great rebellion because they are intolerant of mother’s chatter and father’s interference. A research conducted by Hubei University show that 90% teachers believe students in the past were much more obedient.

All in all, admittedly, it has never been easy to raise a kid.(这里是让步。。有点问题。) However, young parents today are facing more difficulties either materiallmaterial or psychological perspective than it was 50 years ago.
