my cellphone. he may have tried my home phone but it was disconnected at that time. I am in US. so things could be different - they may call people here first, then other places since there is always the time zone issue. perhaps you can check your status online? I was told that I could do so but it didn't seem that they have updated the system yet. cheers
isaacycc, i went for an on-campus interview with a 2nd year student - Bridget Daly (http://gsb.uchicago.edu/askastudent/askft.html). She was very nice -actually I met her two days before the interview in a reception. although she didn't quite recognize me, I wasn't so nervous anymore since i talked with her before.
the interview was about 30 min and Qs were pretty standard, such as Why MBA and why Chicago. she also asked me which student organization I wanted to join if admitted. I said dean's student admission committee (DSAC http://gsb.uchicago.edu/dynamic.asp?nNodeID=13&intContentID=501). she asked why....
during the first few minutes, i mentioned my company's "open door" policy, so she asked me how it worked and why I liked it (seems that she went with my flow this time
have u scheduled to attend an info session, campus tour or class visit? it will a good idea to do so because you will get many "insider" info and have a lot to discuss with the interviewer. u can also request to meet some Chinese students by sending emails to adm.
