请教一道语法题

答案是E，A怎么错了？E里两个破折号不是可以看成插入语么，那also enalbes不是跟在wings后边还是插入语的一部分么？句子不就没有谓语了么？

不对吧，谓语动词就应该是复数的吧，E不也是enable不是enables么，主语不应该是ultrathin么？construction不应该是插入语的主语么？
