     答案是B，可是我觉得这里用不定式的完成时态好，表示持续到现在都没有bother Samuel Johnson，请大家指教

我觉得分号前面说Balzac的时候也只是陈述一般的过去的事实，而后面是对比，用一般过去时就好了，没有造成困扰，就这么简单的陈述一下。
