答案是D，我觉得没问题。只是觉得单看A中的amounting to 也没有问题！

伴随要跟主句谓语动词同事发生 announced 无法跟 amounting伴随啊

A is weong, because “amounting& representing" should apply to the subject of the preceding clause.
in thie case, amounting& representing apply to the manufacturer, that's nonsence.
