（修饰）刚才看了很多帖子看到关于这个有个解释——同位语的修饰不单单看语法还看逻辑意思的，故这两种都可以。貌似可以解释，不过不是很确定这个解释

（紧跟）找到两个人解释：
1.同位语是紧邻修饰。

碰到of结构，很多modifer都是要看context, 例如， which，that。。。。

2.只是同谓语的判断要凭逻辑不能单纯靠结构。当然如果非要从语法的角度解释这里work不算同位语。你可以查一下在语法中有一种free modifier叫做summtive
modifier。（同位语也是free modifier的一种）
其实这种区分确实没有多大必要，它可以这样用。如此而已

同位语是修饰前面名词起到解释说明作用，其实OG19 与 47是一样的一个是名词一个是名词词组(中心词是transilation) 要是修饰Lillad 应该是 his translation of the Iliad that...

参看PREP08 语法笔记中191题后关于同位语的说明：同位语“解释的是整个名词，而不是名词短语中某个词”，同位语不是核心修饰词。
