偶选了B,为什么不对呢

这是落学无声妹妹的提问，拿来放在一起，方便讨论

1.C和E的区别是C中用了分词modenizing，表示动作，modenizing……to be completeded 不对？而E中加了个同位语，a programme 就变成了项目be completed

2.hopfully 和it is hoped 有什么区别？

有关hopefully的用法，by是这样解释的：hopefully在口语中有两个意思，充满希望的和人们希望的，在书面语中为了保证意思的单一性，一般不使用hopefully。

hopefully 是口语，it is hoped 是书面语。

C. Modernizing the steel mill, hopefully to be completed in the late 1980’s, will cost approximately 51 million dollars.

即使将 hopefully 换为 it is hoped 也不对。it 指代上文整个Modernizing the steel mill是不对的，it 只能指代单数名词，即 steel mill 或 modernizing. 所以还有指代不清晰之嫌。

E. 在定语从句中断句加入插入语，所以显得结构零散。

我的搜索方法也比较麻烦，就在搜索框中只键入题好，如45，然后从搜索出来的，一大堆带45的题目中，找出大全45或　天山45.不知有没什么更直接的方法。

对这种修饰可能回产生歧异的题还是觉得很难把握, 多次遇到这种题一眼看过去就觉得B选项很清晰, 又看到E选项这种奇怪的表达立刻就排除了......真是郁闷, 哪位NN有什么好办法没有啊?

从意思上来说B是不对的,B中的for the steel mill是用来修饰program的,前面的modernization不是主体了,成了修饰program的定语了.所以至少B应改为the program for modernizing the steel mill才合理.

而且completed 不对,本句要表达的是一种未来时态,所以应改为to be completed。

以上两点错误导致B不能入选。

我是搜索进来的，白勇语法第17题。这道题B\E都有瑕疵，没有绝对正确。我一开始也是选的B，但事后反复琢磨句意，hopefully completed in xxx..确实读起来意思有点怪； E一看起来就是句子fragment，而且开头的modernizing the steel mill 也比较怪，但仔细分析结构是对的。

碰到这种题就认栽吧，不再钻B错在哪里牛角尖了。

弱弱的问一句，这里为什么用的时态不是过去时，不是有过去的时间点吗？
