标题: “with + n. + 定语从句” 的问题
prep08笔记 190. (GWD-28-Q24) 中有这么一段：
独立主格并不包括“with + n. + 定语从句” 和 “n. + 定语从句”的形式，这个形式做的是非限定性修饰前面名词的定语，因为这个形式就相当于n, with + n.，或者是n., n. + that概括性同位语。
意思是不是“n1，with+n2+定从” 是做n1的定语？不属于独立主格范围？
但是prep08 193. (T-3-Q2) 有这么一题：
As the honeybee’s stinger is heavily barbed, staying where it is inserted, this results in the act of stinging causing the bee to sustain a fatal injury.
A. As the honeybee’s stinger is heavily barbed, staying where it is inserted, this results in the act of stinging causing
B. As the heavily barbed stinger of the honeybee stays where it is inserted, with the result that the act of stinging causes
C. The honeybee’s stinger, heavily barbed and staying where it is inserted, results in the fact that the act of stinging causes

是不是08prep笔记中 关于with+n+定从的内容写错了？

抱歉 没把原题划线处标明 重新发：
prep08笔记 190. (GWD-28-Q24) 中有这么一段：

主句,with the result that... 是一个独立主格的特例？ or 独立主格本身就不包含 ，with+n+that 的情况？

不是很明白prep08笔记在说些什么，但LZ举的例子却可以用最普通的方法就可以作选择--只有E选项是符合句子结构和逻辑关系的句子。

with+N+that 从句在08语法中讲的是不能做独立主格结构，但在manhattan语法中，讲这个的时候是把它当做独立主格的。所以觉得它可以做独立主格的。
后面这个题的with the result that：从而，结果是。 是一个固定语法idiom，并不是独立主格结构。
判断是不是独立主格的方式：
1 独立主格中的宾语与主句主语紧密相关却不相同。
2独立主格与主句形成松散的逻辑关系，与主句中描述的状态，动作，伴随的同时发生与存在
3因为独立主格是修饰前句的整个句子或动词，因此可以改变独立主格的位置，而同位语修饰名词（根据就近原则）是不可以改变位置的。

还有一道题想请教 ~
213. (GWD-30-Q2)Caribou are wary animals with excellent hearing, so stalking them over the treeless landscape, getting close enough to kill itwith nothing but a handheld lance, as Dorset people did, required exceptional hunting skill.

OA是B。 但请看一下E选项（it无指代 , in order to 不如to简练 这两个问题先放在一边），08笔记上说E选项：“and后半句没有主句” 。这个怎么理解？
stalking.... and getting.... 可以做required的主语呀。 难道是笔记上写错了吗？

恩，这里为什么08笔记说没有主语是因为 “SO”与' "and"
首先And 是一个并列连词，则and 连接的若前面是一个句子，那么后面也必须有一个完整的句子【当然也可以并列其他词】。
在这里前面就是一个完整的句子，所以后面应该跟完整的句子。
E选项，and 后面有一个so。So是一个连词但不能单独使用，它只能附着在一个主句后使用，所以and 后面只有一个so 引导的句子，因此不是一个完整的句子，所以比较中说后半句无主句。
建议LZMM 可以看一下 manhattan的Odds andEnds 这一章，对于句子结构的把握会更清晰。

“with + n + having done, 主句” ------ 独立主格里面的分词是having done, 这种独立主格的形式正确吗？
举个具体的例子： 请看E选项
223. (T-4-Q16)Humans have been damaging the environment for centuries by overcutting trees and farming too intensively, and though some protective measures, like the establishment of national forests and wildlife sanctuaries, having been taken decades ago, great increases in population and in the intensity of industrialization are causing a worldwide ecological crisis.
A. though some protective measures, like the establishment of national forests and wildlife sanctuaries, having been taken decades ago, great increases in population
B. though some protective measures, such as the establishment of national forests and wildlife sanctuaries, were taken decades ago, great increases in population
C. though some protective measures, such as establishing national forests and wildlife sanctuaries having been taken decades ago, great population increases
D. with some protective measures, like establishing national forests and wildlife sanctuaries that were taken decades ago, great increases in population (B)

E选项其实未表达转折语气、with与其逻辑主语不符、great population increases 与 in the intensity不平行 ； 刨除这些以外，咱们单说这种with + n + having done独立主格的使用方法 with+n+having done是正确的独立主格形式吗？

在GMAT中，对having done 的用法。我记得是ron 的语录说过。
having done 只能修饰一个句子的主语，并且有逗号隔开。具体的例子可以参照Og-13- 25.
having done不能作为限定性修饰，即名词后面不能直接跟having done（无逗号）
这里with的结构的本质在于，独立主格结构的本质在于名词+名词修饰语。
那么with+N+ having done，在这里就意味着having done是N的限定修饰语，若遵循以上的结论，则这个结构是错误的。
这个只是瓜瓜这样推理的。janet具体的可以多看看with的题自己做总结，现在janet做的就不错把with的用法的题全部整理一遍，这样的纵向分析后，你就能发现GMAT的语法的一些倾向性。

瓜瓜~ 针对我“with+n+having done/having been done ”的问题 我有了更确凿的解释
引自千行excel OG-12 68题中的注解：
对having done的用法总结（来自Elory的语法笔记）：
A) having done和having been done都不是动名词结构，因此不能充当名词成分！
所以SC中，如果这两个结构做主语、宾语等，必错！
B) having done和having been done做后置定语，必错！
having done做后置定语，一般都要改成相应的定语从句
having been done做后置定语，一般都要改成相应的done做过去分词，或者改成定语从句
C) having done和having been done用于“with独立主格”中必错！
指with+ sb./sth+ having done/having been done这种情况
