意思上的考察，既然这个M地方是英国的殖民地，很应该这个殖民地说的是英语；
但是后半部分说的是never，当然就是一个转折，所以一定要出现个but表示转折作者: lindberghya 时间: 2013-12-30 01:19
except 在英语中就不是连词。。。没有but就run on了
