标题: 一道prep exam的题求助
Only seven people this century have been killed by the great white shark, the man-eater of the movies-less than those killed by bee stings.
A.
B. movies-fewer than have been
c. movies, which is less than those
d. movies, a number lower than the people
e. movies, fewer than the ones

答案选b, 请问e为什么不对啊，答案b又是怎么对的呢？谢谢

比较的是数量上的对比，而the ones并没有数值的概念，其次，ones不能指代人。
Ron 说过一句话：Correct answer is correct。
建议楼主把不明白的地方仔细说出来，因为为什么对这样的问法让人不知道怎么回答。

谢谢楼上~主要是觉得b的比较的结构不是很清楚，have been前面是缺少主语么？
觉得e挺好的，比较的对象清楚，是seven people和the ones. 另外ones是可以指人的？

1. have been对应have been，结构上parallel。可以理解成that have been killed，that省略了
2. seven people和the ones不能比较，就算the ones可以指代人，但是无法表示数值概念，这里是人数和人数的比较
