A选项 heirlooms 和 heirloom tomatoes做主语，有木有谓语的事儿我不大明白诶，破折号不应该分割两个句子么？heirloom tomatoes 怎么可能是are more flavorful···的主语呢？总之ＯＧ上的讲解看得我晕乎乎的，麻烦大牛们帮忙解释一下这道题，谢谢啦～～～

不是NN，讲点个人的理解咯。。
没有查看OG ，应该答案是B 吧？

A，C 选项很明显没有谓语。。
A：Although appearing less appetizing than most of their round and red supermarket cousins, heirloom tomatoes, grown from seeds saved during the previous year—they are often green and striped, or have plenty of bumps and bruises—heirlooms are more flavorful and thus in increasing demand.
这里heirloom tomatoes 是主语，前面although跟的是修饰，后面Grown跟的也是修饰，之后直接接破折号了，没有谓语，也就是破折号前面成分不完整咯。。
C也是同样的问题
而B，这里heirloom tomatoes 是主语，grown后面跟的是修饰，而 appear 则是谓语！成分完整
这句话的结构是：although heirloom tomatoes appear belabela——heirlooms are belabela。。。
额。不知道有没有说明白。。。。。。。。。。

我也正好看到这道题，也查看了论坛上的其他解释，我觉得是：
A和C都是属于没有谓语的结构，appearing。。。和 grown from。。。都是修饰的成分修饰H tomatoes，然后就直接破折号了，而且Although后面要接完整的句子（不知道这个说法可靠不）。

E选项grown from。。。是修饰H tomatoes 忽略不看后面直接接although they。。。不对！

D选项的前半句话看着就不对

对比各个选项觉得B最完美

请大家继续补充完善

去掉修饰成分，ACE就是 Heirloom tomatoes，heirlooms are more flavorful and thus in increasing demand.缺少谓语或者连词，D的话就是两个句子并列没有连词，B选项很好，直接把前面的变成了让步状语从句，句意很清晰
