1. Gas has three potential for studying , such three parts should be put in parallel form


C is not parallel


also in E , you can have such structure( although a little wordier)


notice that you can have to do, to do and to do or    to do, do and do (same case here for as)


2.


notice the existence of whether


the question is not yet being answer


if you used simple past


you are illogically suggested that an unanswered question has already been answered ( that is self- contradictory)


preceded with is not idiomatic ； it should be preceded by


also， D is much wordier than C （though not a fatal issue）
