In1852 Robert Angus Smith published a detailed report

town, the more the city air would become increasingly acidic

答案是a，但是我选的是C我觉得后面分居的主体应该是the city air 吧， one 不是太清楚指代的是谁

为什么不能选B呢我觉得A 答案很奇怪的，后面用的时态是HAS TAKEN

present perfect is legally used here

has taken here means:

this event happened in the past (here you get simple past)

if this event has continuing effect or relevent to the current topic

here you get present perfect

B: so that is no used correctly

C. such that is wrong

第一题是the more........the more.......的结构形式。
