呼，刚做完阅读用自己的思路讲下这题
感觉manhattan的forum把这题的考点讨论得很分散
首先，看一道SC，把A选项完整的读一次找出它的intended meaning和suspicious blunder非常非常的重要，尤其是难题，特别多grammatically correct但是意思改变的选项
1.在法国的人们和在美国的人们吃差不多的食品
2.但是法国挂的人比较少
non-underlined portion 表达了一个转折，这个转折make sense （就是比较对象不对等）
关于你纠结的E选项
可以有两种理解
1.the rate of （ people consuming in....）
第一这改变了意思，你需要出现在
核心主干的名词和谓语变成了修饰成分
第二，consuming作为
essential modifier 修饰people（首先这缩小了样本的讨论范围）
A选项的people就是人们，没有指代哪群人；但是E选项这个consuming缩小了讨论人群的范围
