B选项怎么错了看了这么多贴还是不明白
with独立主格修饰的是谁呀
按Prep1-190 对独立主格的解释：独立主格表伴随，只能修饰主谓宾结构。
B选项的with独立主格，就应该修饰后面 a permanently orbiting space station will have to generate its own electricity.
prep对这题B选项的解释是：with引导的独立主格结构有修饰歧义。
混乱呀混乱哪个NN来帮我理一下我的思绪万分感谢！！

with 独立主格是不是也可以修饰the short flights of the shuttle and earlier spacecraft 不然他怎么会说修饰歧义。
我的问题在于 prep1-190 对于with 独立主格的解释是它只能修饰主谓宾结构那么这题with就只能修饰后面的而不能修饰the short flights of the shuttle and earlier spacecraft 这样就不存在修饰歧义了。。

按逻辑应该修饰前面的，现在成修饰后面的了，不是错误了么。

with是可以作为名词修饰语修饰前面的名词了，因此存在两种理解
1. 作为介宾结构修饰前面名词.
2. 作为独立主格修饰后面svo.
因此会修饰歧义。
楼主可以参照og13 第7题和114题

DUKB24对不起啦因为对with独立主格修饰太混乱了 ~表达的一塌糊涂一直以为with结构只能是独立主格修饰后面的SVO，看了yakev的解释，忽然晃过神来with 还可以作为介宾结构修饰前面名词。这样就有歧义了~~~这回明白了谢谢DUKB24 每次都愿意用心回答我的问题

怎么区分with结构是介宾结构还是独立主格呢？？？拿这个题来说，它都有可能，所以歧义了
那如果with是结构放在最后，是独立主格还是介宾呢？？这两个分不出来啊....

时隔这么长时间又想问问大牛 with做介宾结构和独立主格结构有什么不一样么结构上不一样么？怎么区分？

因为这个我在BD挣扎时就把它排除了。。。

用过去式是合理的

请问，我在Manhattan prep帖子里看到，有人问Ron B的with是否有歧义，Ron回答并没有。

Other than redundancy, B is also wrong because the position of " with sufficient enough power in fuel cells and batteries for their short flights" leads to ambiguity.
Because "with xxxx" then could be modifying either the shuttle and earlier spacecraft or a permanently orbiting space station
Is that ambiguity a solid ground to eliminate this choice?
