请问这里do为什么放在Europeans前面而不是后面。

more...than... 比较结构后半句可以倒装也可以不倒装，但是ETS的句子里多数倒装。

但是do 的位置不同有时候是不是意思不同呀？
比如一下两个句子 ron视频出现过的
I know more about Shakespeare than does my brother这句的意思是我了解莎士比亚比my brother了解莎士比亚了解德多吗?还是比起my brother，我更了解莎士比亚的意思呀??
跟这句话I know more about Shakespeare than my brother does 意思是一样的吗？
求好心人解答！！
