A.as extending

B.as the extent

how to choose? thx!

觉得应该选B

1 regard sth as sth (这里是个名词词组）

2 有the extent to 这里换成upword也容易理解

3 doing 表动作的过程，这里好像不是这个意思

I prefer B too, but the answer is A .
