(A) Degler does more than merely summarizing

(B) Degler’s study is more than a mere summarizing of

(D) Degler’s study has done more than summarize merely（E）

(E) Degler does more than merely summarize

If we choose E here, What makes me confused is that why we don't use summarizes, I mean, where is the "s" ?

Any comment is appreciated.

这里考的是一个比较三原则～

B，C应该用动词形式而不是summarizing～

D 中前一句的主语逻辑上讲不通～

A than 前后比较不对称～

看来看去只有E 比较对称～至于为什么没有用 summarizes 我也疑惑，不过用排除法，这个E 最顺眼了～

会不会是summarize 前面的does没有补出？

同意does 已经加了第三人称单数的"s", 所以无需重复
