答案C，想问一下，C中the ratio in 1980是个什么成分？？？是同位语吗？以前讨论帖中说A，B错误因为campare前后比较对象不是同类事物，一个是ratio，一个是pay，可是C对的话，the ratio 岂不是做了pay的同位语？？？既然不是同类事物怎么同位解释？

我觉得这里ratio是42 times的同位语，是逗号加同位语跳跃修饰情况。

不过如果前面的成分比较短，不会引起歧义，这个同位语还是可以跳跃修饰的，比如这个例子：

According to surveys by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, about 20 percent of young adults used cocaine in 1979, doubling those reported in the 1977 survey.
(A) doubling those reported in the 1977 survey
(B) to double the number the 1977 survey reported
(C) twice those the 1977 survey reported
(D) twice as much as those reported in the 1977 survey
(E) twice the number reported in the 1977 survey

OA：E。其中twice跳跃used cocaine修饰20 percent of young adults.

我觉得这里ratio是42 times的同位语，是逗号加同位语跳跃修饰情况。
