E中does 好像就是强调吧，实际上意思就是Degler more than merely summarizes......

这里是more than merely 是不仅仅只是的意思，修饰summerize, 意思是D不仅仅summerize，她还construct了

我想是does 强调summarize, summarize 和 conduct平行，意思是，Degler 不仅仅只是总结了一下，他将两个世纪来有关妇女作用的研究连贯成一个完整的picture。
