(E) two times greater than

it 在这里就没有指代的歧义么？是不是因为前面的其它名词都是在of结构里呢？

the rate of increase是一个抽象概念，没有被特别的限定，这个概念在不同的年代意义是完全一样的，所以可以用it替代；比较的是名词结构，没有歧义。
