刚才把题目搞错了正确答案是A 这个我可以想明白但是就是那个 ,and who thus 那一部分想不清楚

是从句？连接句子时，需要在连词前加逗号，这和该句子后面" , and that ..." 是一个道理.

可是为什么Diagnostic 47题的题干是这样的？

“Like embryonic germ cells, which are cells that develop early in the formation of the fetus and that
later generate eggs or sperm,” 为什么 and that 前没有逗号呢？

求解释！

是因为前面非限定性定语从句已经有一个逗号，为了防止多一个逗号引起断句不对吗？

做插入语，表明这些盲人因为是先天性的，所以也没有看到过人的手势，thus表示有因果关系在里面，但是是同一类人

是定语从句的并列，不是SVO，所以and只是连接两个定语从句，不需要加，
只有SVO与SVO时，and前才需要加，

47题的题干是Like embryonic germ cells, which are cells that develop early in the formation of the fetus and that later generate eggs or sperm, embryonic stem cells have the ability to ....

两道题中，加粗部分都分别是两个定语从句，一个有逗号连接，一个没有。为什么呢？

1. and who thus have been seen anyone gesture 只是补充说明，可有可无的成分，因为可以从who have been blind from birth推导出来，所以以插入语形式出现。
2. that develop early in the formation of the fetus and that later generate eggs or sperm这两个从句之间是承接关系，后面部分不是可有可无，所以不能用插入语。
3. 47题如果and that later generate eggs or sperm用了插入语，会造成句子结构太复杂混乱。。

2. that develop early in the formation of the fetus and that later generate eggs or sperm这两个从句之间是承接关系，后面部分不是可有可无，所以不能用插入语。
3. 47题如果and that later generate eggs or sperm用了插入语，会造成句子结构太复杂混乱。。

是否加逗号是由逻辑和句子清晰度决定的。

而这里，第二个定从的and前加了逗号，是因为第二个定从是可有可无的，所以就作为了插入成分。

所以，逗号的用法，还是从逻辑来分析比较好。而且其实逗号永远不会成为核心考点，所以不要过于纠结。

M兄啊，我没说“比如下面的宾语从句”啊。。。。。

额。。。。。。苍天。。。。。我说只有SVO和SVO时，and前才需要加逗号。。。。。冤枉啊。。。。。。。

宾语从句相当于一个名词啊。。。。。。

你看我在9楼的回复，这个and+定语从句只所以加“，”是因为这个是插入语啊。。。。。完全是因为前面的thus所内含的因果关系

这里是表示非限制性定语从句还是为了使比较清晰才在which前加逗号呢
这里做非限定性定语从句不好吧
