答案是D。
我选的是E。我觉得E比较平行对称啊，主语都是the usage啊。

对了，刚刚又仔细想了一想，觉得C也对啊，即平行又没有什么代词指代错误。

我刚刚从新东方的笔记里看到
unlike A, B do......，A与B是同类事就可以，没有说一定要求名词啊~

那是他没说完全啊，表示同类事的确如此，另外同类事得表达方式就是以noun 来表达。unlike 你查朗文就知道了啊 unlike ： completely different from a particular person or thing。所以不是 person 或 thing 的均不对啊，有时候建议你查下一个单词的英文意思，其实英文意思里就暗示了语法。呵呵~

那个，想顺便问一下关于 B的错误是哪里？they的指带没问题，指代spices这个，然后为--有人说是 in using..这个错误？为何？谢谢

但是B里面已经有了in cooking了不可能再用in using spices for medicine修饰前面一个句子吧··
一直很困惑这种摇摆产生修饰歧义的句子需不需要考虑逻辑意思即如果从逻辑上来说根本没办法修饰前一句但是从语法上来说有这种可能可以通过这点来排除选项么？

D也是这种双逗号之间夹了一个状语但是却不摇摆因为无论是修饰上举还是下句都一样·

一般而言，介词短语是作为状语修饰动作的，所以这题的前后问题倒不是很大
主要问题是，using的动作主题是谁？根据后半句，明显可以看出不是人，所以错误

it是不可以的，因为前后不是一个东西，需要用that等，其次，后面是taken，所以只能是spices，不用it
