    我做的时候首先排除了A，因为A里面的which指代mountains的化逻辑上不能解释，而且我觉得while这里表转折也不对，因为while表转折应该要是同时发生的，可是这里不是同时发生的。
    结果答案选A。
    我看到这是一道争议题，也查了一些论坛，发现国外有些人说选B，求NN来解答一下，答案究竟是什么啊？？

我个人觉得选B，哈哈，我和国外人站在一边咧，荣幸咧~好崇洋媚外的家伙。。。

话说，俺也觉得选B比较合适，错误最少，不过我觉得用the fact有点wordy。。。
还有it的指代是不是也有一点问题呢？

it是不是指代fact呢？虽然the fact that开头确实没好感，但是A的问题貌似更多

the fact 要加，而且是必须加。which would make it seem that elk are mountain dwellers，之所以 which 用错，是因为which 是不能指代前面一整句话的，只能指代 mountains，但正如你说逻辑不通。是前面整个一句话导致后者的一个可能的结论： elk are mountain dwellers。 所以 the fact that。。。。。would 就把后面的句子连接在一起了，逻辑也顺了。

这里的it 是形式宾语，would make it seem that 就像 it is difficult that ....., it 在这里没有什么具体的意思，但是是为了头重脚轻的感觉才用形式宾语， it 其实就that后面的内容。
比如： it is difficult for me to learn english 比 for me to learn english  is difficult 就好一些，避免头重脚轻。

不知道我这样讲有没有讲清楚啊~LZ明白了吗？

但是difficult是形容词，而seem是动词，需要宾语，如果it是形式宾语替代that从句，那么seem的宾语是什么？
