感谢,感谢,感谢!
each a roof 这种用法没看到过的说?
NN解释啊!
我的看法是:
e,有歧义,d的to be 结构累赘
E. With roofs of poles and arrowweed that are,应该是roof被supported,而不是arrowweed,
对于A,each +noun作为复数名词的同位语形式出现,以前看见过的
偶的问题是这里用冠词a。
若是 each roof 没有问题,但是加 a 就不懂了。
哦对的,这是独立主格
我刚看了lzhm的精解,可能有两种解释:
1、 all…,each…,结构
2、 独立主句结构,可以用with引导,也可以省略with。但此题中,未划线部分supported by posts set in a rectangle,是单数,所以D,E均错。
自己顶一下
谁来解释一下啊,谢了!
手头没有东西,回去好好翻翻
记得昨天因为一道题翻出来过一个og19题,有关with,MM不妨先看看
See mariezhu MM's Absolute phrases (独立主格结构): http://forum.chasedream.com/dispbbs.asp?BoardID=23&ID=48096
It's absolutely great!!
请看下列例子:
1. Because of wireless service costs plummeting in the last year, and as mobile phones are increasingly common, many people now using their mobile phone to make calls across a wide region at night and on weekends, when numerous wireless companies provide unlimited airtime for a relatively small monthly fee.
D. With the cost of wireless service plummeting in the last year and mobile phones becoming increasingly common, many people are
E. While the cost of wireless service has plummeting in the last year and mobile phones are increasingly common, many people are
答案是E
bunnier can't believe the answer choice is E: logically, it doesn't offer a reason why people are using mobile phones. comparison doesn't make sense, either. grammariticlally, it has mixed tenses and a wrong verb form.
D is much better... with it, the sentence provides an additional situation/reason. without it, the sentence is still meaningful.
多多讨论...
bunnier,首先,不一定要是reason就用because of,其次,这里可以表示一个environment,(I prefer it to reason)
~就算是逻辑题,也不会这么工整的说Because ...then...这样逻辑题的结构倒是好判别的多呢
然后说with,偶刚刚贴过关于这个issue一个帖子,好长的,可是cd突然断网了~都是我从og上摘下来的,可惜啊
我找了og的结论是,相同的意思,如果可以用从句(这个需要考察)或分词短语(这个好理解,with +n+分词短语=累赘),就不要用with.而og在题干中常常用到这个结构,如
og90:Since 1986, when the Department of Labor began to allow investment officers’ fees to be based on how the funds they manage perform, several corporations began paying their investment advisers a small basic fee, with a contract promising higher fees if the managers perform well.
