（B） the use of fire to cook food 做后面两个分句的主语，逻辑清晰。举例时用 as 而不用 like （D） 主语成了fire了，而不是the use of fire to cook food，逻辑意思错误。Having的用法不对。
另外，关于date的用法，主要有：date back，date back to，date from三种，不存在be dated back to这种被动形式，date表“追溯”意思时，只有主动形式。
date back是个动词短语，后面接时间段，有to的话后面得接时间点。ago是副词，一般用在时间段之后，表示“……多长时间”以前
