但是不知道B为什么会对，like表比较吗？？
但是刨除这个点，也只有B了。E句子结构不完整，D中sandpipers和前面的sandpiper 不对应，C不平行且the birds 和sandpiper 不对应，A意思错，且也不对应
通观所有选项，每个主语都和like后的名词不构成比较对等，那么就只好刨除这个知识点了

我认为为什么b对ａ不对的一个原因是：A.the sandpipers vanishing in the northeastern United States is a result of residential and industrial development and of changes in
B.the bird itself is vanishing in the northeastern
有道理，要根据句意做题，不单存依赖于语法。
天啊～尊重原文哪！ 原文的意思就是sandpipers vanishing ...is a result of B 选项改成the bird itself is vanishing...as a result of 肯定是不厚道的。
最重要的是Like要求两者一定是同样的，不管后面跟的动词是怎样。 比如：like a person....., the wolf which eat pig...这种like对么！？？？！！！ 按上面的道理 person 和 wolf 都eat呀！
ETS不会搬起石头砸自己脚想到那么变态的，个人认为答案是A
