标题: 急切求助！！！关于each的独立主格结构
首先，逗号不能连接两个句子，但在这样一道题中，
Dr.Tonegawa won the Nobel Prize for discovering how the body can constantly change its genes to fashion a seemingly unlimited number of antibodies, each targeted speficially at an invading microbe or foreign substance.
后面的独立主格结构each targeted speficially at an invading microbe or foreign substance
是不是一个句子呢？
如果是，逗号不是不能连接两个句子么？

帮顶！我今天也在思考这个问题。感觉后面的each targeted speficially at an invading microbe or foreign substance 是一个句子啊！如果是独立主格，不应该是个完整的句子！

刚才在网上找了一下，我认为是对target的翻译问题，本题应该是each (is) targeted…所以是each独立主格

如下
1 把…定为目标：
例句： Our company has targeted career women as our primary customers.
The enemy bombers targeted our arsenal

2 为…定指标或目的：
例句：The coal production is targeted for 100 million tons this year
3 瞄准，把…对准(与on连用)：
The nuclear weapons are targeted on Western Europe.

所以本题中的target为第二个意思。（我的确是没有查到target at这个词组）

to make something have an effect on a particular limited group or area
The programme is targeted at improving the health of women of all ages.
to aim something at a target
　The missiles are targeted at several key military sites.
朗文上查的。
我发现 be targeted at 像是个固定用法似的
LZ的例子中应该是 to aim something at a target

所以EACH后是少了is，属于独立主格
