这题选b,最后一个为什么不行

此题，我选第一个选肢：year , compared to the previously 7 per year, toward the cost of higher education

原句A：paying语法上是伴随主句谓语boycotted，语义上它应该和contribute伴随，所以，挥泪告别；

给出的两个选肢，我认为第一个好；原因是它是在比较今年和前一年的情况，并不是如instead of在表达同一事物同一时间状态的两种alternative。

这个题目选B？？？楼主是指上面一个选项还是下面一个选项？？？我觉得这个题目选上面一个选项

理由：第一：逻辑意思来看，instead of表示rather than的意思，怎么读这个意思都不如compared to好

第二：instead of后的内容必须和reuires them to contribute 后的内容平行，但是reuires them to contribute 7 per year required previously就肯定不对了

TO JerryGuan，我觉得此题的谓语是strike to 而不是boycotted，主语是most of portugal’s 250000 university boycotted classes

上面我的帖子说了：最根本的理由就是如果平行的话，应该可以写成这样

With "compare to" you put the emphasis on similarity 把..比作

while with "compare with" you put the emphasis on difference, 把...和..比较

sth is compared to 的意思是XX被比作什么，而不是和XX相比的意思

如果选 C 的话, instead of 后面的内容既可以认为是取代 330 a year, 也可以取代 the cost of higher education 如果仅从逻辑而言, 更应该是修饰后者, 这显然不合原意.

从OG 上的题看, rather than/ instead of 应紧跟其要修饰的对象.

关于compare with, compare to 的区别有时并不绝对, From Longman

Los Angeles is large, compared to/ with Boston.

而且我认为此题的关键不在compare, 而是必须明确表达 300 a year 和 7 per year 的关系

所以我认为B 好, 望指正.
