如果将A的had变为did,大家认为正确吗

个人看法:

即使将A的had变为did, 也不能清楚的指明did就是confronted.

我的理解是:


比较的是confront的changes,而不是confront 这个动作的比较,所以应该把they confront  补出来,这样不会产生歧义.即使是A中的had也同样比较的是动作,而不是confront这个动作所面临的changes.


不知这样理解对否??

d中应该在they confronted前面省略了changes

好像放在as many as 中间的宾语changes,就可以做前后两句共同的宾语。对么?
