ANS: B
不知A错哪? 这里a greater proportion是television costs的同位语吧? 可不可以也将it理解为指代television costs,这种表达方式有吗?比较对象有问题吗?

另外，在比较中，如果用it，是指代前面完整的名词结构，在这里就是表示a greater proportion，显然逻辑意思不对。
我觉得A中把it改成that应该就对了，that只是指代前面提到的名词结构里的核心词。

另外，向B中这样的比较结构这样只保留时间或地点状语的现象在GMAT中是很常见的

拙见，open to discuss...

还是有点晕阿，portion 到底是之什么？如果还原，原句该如何

如果than后是主谓省略, 那portion应该是指TV cost 了

既然后面省略，那省略的肯定是可比的对象，而不可能是TV cost，

总之A中的it只能精确指代前面出现过的一个名词结构的全部，比如在这里只能指代a greater proportion, 一个更大的比重，而若改成that,那么指代的就是前面出现过的一个名词结构在核心词，比如在这里就只指代a proportion.不知这样说你明白没？
