many of whom 和 and many的侧重点是不一样的，前者强调的是从属关系，而后者表明句中有两个主语，重心平衡，而原句的意思是LAOS为一个句子重心作者: xbx_lee 时间: 2010-7-24 16:49
同意ls的说法，更清楚一点的话，原句有两个分句组成，选E的话：Laos --> land ..., people ... 选D的话变成：Laos -->land, people; people，把people的地位抬到和laos一样高了，但是前一个分局也提到了people，所以句子的重心可能有些问题了。作者: liberzephyr 时间: 2010-7-24 21:06
我的思路跟你们不太一样 不看后面的 many 还是 many of whom 看前面 D. L has a land area comparable to the size of Great Britain, but only four million in population.... E. L has a land area comparable to that of Great Britain but a population of only four million ....
E 好 L has a land area.... but a population 对称就是美 a land area comparable to that of Great Britain 比较对象对等 美啊 but前面没有逗号 我觉得也比较好 （有待确认）
