有些晕，不知道armed的逻辑主语是谁，从正确答案的位置上看应该是H，可是

解题思路：
（1）根据分词位置的合理，排除b/e
（2）比较a/c,不管aim这个动作是谁发出they were armed 这种说法肯定不对，排除A
（3）比较C/D,同样的错误！

所以，选C.从整个句子的逻辑意思来看，aim的动作发出应该是traveling the back roads of Hungary 这件事情。但是这个题目我们是可以回避的。

aim的动作发出应该是BB AND ZK啊，LZM的理解是aimed 之前省了and，我也很郁闷啊！

我觉的是从句套从句简化的结果,choice C可以还原成 In 1905 Bela Bartok and Zoltan Kodaly began their pioneering work in ethnomusicology, when they were traveling the back roads of Hungary while they armed only with an Edison phonograph and insatiable curiosity.
