答案是E

问题在B项：1、was an orbiting satellite为什么用倒装？2、是说在but also间加they(代词)一定不对吗？WHY? 3、not only ..but also的also是可以省略吧？

but also的also一定是不可以省的。
but also中间一般不能加代词，但我记得prep里面有一题例外。

嗯，好象就是这个。
弄得我现在都不敢排除了。
还好做到现在只有这一道例外，只能记住这个形式也不能一下就排除。
