请问B答案为什么错了？看了半天没看出来，是instead of 吗？可是正确答案A也用了instead 啊

instead of作为介词短语前后比较要一致 B里面就成了 using 和 programming的比较但programming是个主动的形式机器人是不会自己编程的

instead本身作为副词是相反然而的意思 A选项里面使用正确

"instead of" generally introduces noun phrase.In choice b, the words phrasing "by programming them" after "instead of" is a form of preposition +v-ing,so you can pick this choice out as a wrong one.
