Nowhere 在句首倒装换成正常语序是 the influence of Jane Austen in early American literature is Nowhere more apparent than in the novels of James Fenimore Cooper.

A: 1.The right phrases should be as..as or so...as to do.

2.ETS don't like there be.

3.influence can't compare with novels.

B: wrong phrase: so...than

C: wrong: more...as

D: It is right on the objects of the comparison: the influence of JA versus (the influence) in novels of JFC.

E: This sentence has a weird structure.

我觉得，天蝎MM的原句还原有点问题：

怎么会用 in American Literature 和 in the novels of James Fenimore Cooper比??????

这样比较不对称的。应该是Fighting 129同学的那样。其实是 nowhere和in the novels of James Fenimore Cooper

no where等于 in no place

关于Longman的例子：

nowhere near ready/full/finished etc

The building's nowhere near finished.

nowhere   near已经是固定词组了。不能用来说明nowhere单独使用的情况

aeoluserous, 虽然我知道B“In early American literature, nowhere is Jane Austin's influence so apparent than in the novels of JFC.”中 so..tha...不对，但对于prep的解释："in early American literature 是修饰nowhere的，修饰整句逻辑错误" 不是很理解。如果写成"“In early American literature, nowhere is Jane Austin's influence more apparent than in the novels of JFC, 用nowhere和in the novels of JFC比较不对吗？谢谢~！！！
