Scientists have recently discovered that the ultrathin, layered construction of a butterfly’s wings, the same as the one making some butterflies shimmer via the phenomenon of iridescence, are enabling the insect to control how much heat energy is absorbed by its wings and how much is reflected away.

但C为什么不对呢？

C改变句子重心，原本的主要结构变伴随状语，但其实做伴随状语的语意也搭不太起来，此外，相同地位的另一个东西代名词应用that而不是one

如果C对，带回原句, 变成如下的句子结构形式：
Scientists have discovered that the construction...is the same as the one that makes...via the phenomenon ..., enabling...
这里分词结构，enabling ...可以做定语修饰the phenomenon；或者做discover/is的伴随状语，而根据原句的意思是the construction enables,所以应该是做is的伴随状语。但是，分词结构是不能做系动词的伴随状语的。

说的很好，enabling从语法上来讲逻辑主语应该是科学家，逻辑就错误了。

我一开始看到ultrathin看的太快以为是个什么专业高深的词汇，然后把后面的layers小分句看成了同位语解释ultrathin,结果仔细一看发现原来是ultra..thin...晕死

把形容词ultrathin（超薄的）当成了主语，厄~~~偶太丢人了，还好这里本来就需要单数
看了上面的帖，很有感触，C的结构乍一看喜人，其实错点颇多：

表述wordy；enable本来是从句中的主动词，现变成了主句的伴随状语，其逻辑主语是Scientists说不通，无法跳跃修饰construction
再看D的结构，真的清爽明白至极
wings—the same construction that makes some butterflies shimmer via the phenomenon of iridescence—also enables
破折号后同位语解释construction，就是这个also当时着实迷惑了一下

我觉得用also连接enables使之与makes平行。

考点：
   主谓一致，discovered的宾语从句中，主语是 the ultrathin，所以，宾语从句谓语应该是单三形式。
   修饰。“layered construction of a butterfly’s wings”同位语，解释说明the ultrathin，而同位语后面结构则是修饰同位语，construction。
   A，同位语的修饰不精确，不优选，谓语动词不一致，而且进行时态不精确
   B，which修饰不精准，that also awkward，使得从句谓语不明显，显得句子fragment，缺少谓语。
   C，awkward，fragment。
   D，correct
   E，of想表达什么。。从句主谓不一致。
