(A) that might at one time have died as children

(B) who might once have died in childhood

(D) who in childhood might have at one time died（B）

(E) who, when they were children, might at one time have died

这道题，我觉得应该选D，若是B died in childhood of such...，是不是不太好

我觉得died应该紧接of, 请大家指教

in childhood作为时间状语修饰died应紧接died更好.像died of短语里插入修饰成分的情况很多.

LZ要体会一下,时间状语放在句首修饰全句,和放在被修饰词前后修饰某一个词的区别.

I think that in choice D " at one time died" is awkward.

看到国外某个论坛上有人是这么解释的，我觉得挺有道理：
it need // sentences as in B:
who might once have died in childhood...now live well into old age.

嗯，我觉得 at one time有歧义。可以表示一次
