A, C and D不對因為as...as之間不能只有名詞
as [adjective] as
as [adverb] as
as [adjective] [noun] as
as [adjective] [preposition phrase] as
以上是OG中比較frequently出現的...
E中的showing是在修unemployment....原句是想修figures

想讨论一下showing是修饰unemployment还是figures。

我记得n1 of n2 doing，doing当然修饰n2，就近原则（OG反复强调）。

而n1 for n2 doing，doing修饰的是n1，即中心词。

关于n1 for n2 doing这个，我记得OG出现过，一时找不回例子了，还请大家一起看看。

我这么做的。

aware of通常是something。不要用很长的句子。这里句子这么长，必须用that从句来表达最清楚。所以D,E就排除了。as wide of a radical discrepancy as ever, 这个说法很别扭。这里的of xxx的用法造成句意解释不通。所以，A和C排除了。只有B是正确的。as wide a radical discrepancy as ever表达很清楚正确。感觉wide这里是adverb.

从句子意思来看，showing当然是修饰figures的。因为average income和unemployment都是figures的限定词，不是独立的两个中心词。这里的中心词只有一个，就是figures。句子简化成figures showing xxxx。数据显示xxxx。
