答案是B，为什么B好过C呢？

我也搞不明白，为什么不能是E呢，如果是假设但不一定成立，是不是应该用WOULD呢，还有用THANＴＨＥＹ　ＷＥＲＥ　为什么不比用ＴＨＡＴ　好呢。

OG里频繁出现,典型的if X happens,Y will happen形式啊

1)if x happens, then y will happen, 2)y will happen unless x happens first 3)y will happen only if x happens first 一共三种, 所以CDE出局, than前面单数,所以those出局, b is right

我觉得will和would在这里都可以用，至少是在语法方面，在没确定句子明确意思前（没有上下文，无法完全判断句子的准确态度，比如看这个句子的时候时间已经到了2025年，那么这可能就是个对过去的让步也没准）。虚拟语气不是这题的考点，这题考比较结构中的代词指代问题，句中soar to a level more than one-third higher than是2010年的level和1990年的level比，也就是名词跟名词比，而且level是单数，所有复数形式的代词都可以一步剔除掉，ADE随即排除。C选项中it was是一句话，无法跟a level比较，将it的指代对象（a level）带进去：a level was in 1990，是不是不通啊。所以选B：soar to a level more than one-third higher than that（a level) in 1990

两个问题，一个是时态，这不是虚拟语气，而是前文是a level, it不能指代

虚拟语气不对吧

虚拟语气的言外之意是事实与假设相反，常常if 之后用过去式，而主句也不是would do，而是would have done。比如if i were you， i wouldn't have done that。事实我不是你，是虚拟的。。。。
