我暂时也选A，我没有看答案。B的their么有指代；C的their不能指代non-Australians；D的时间与when太远。

E的regardless两边都有“，”是插入语，可以去掉，所以from when还是修饰1788的，我没选这个是因为from when的语法不清楚对不对
